The successful candidate should have expertise in palaeontology (macro- and/or micropalaeontology) and interest in the fields of stratigraphy, palaeoecology and/or palaeoclimate. He/She must have an excellent scientific record and will develop a competitive research programme. Teaching involves courses in Earth Sciences and Palaeontology at the BSc and MSc levels for the students of the universities of Fribourg and Bern.
