CRC 806 - Our Way to Europe : Culture-Environment Interaction and Human Mobility in the Late Quaternary
The CRC 806 deals with population dynamics and dispersal processes of modern man. Pending grants, it will be set to a 2nd phase by the German Research Foundation (DFG) to continue work
on July 1st 2013 at the Universities of Aachen, Bonn and Cologne. Project C1 “Continuity or Discontinuity ? Patterns of Land Use and Climatic Changes in the Late Pleistocene of the Iberian Peninsula” and project C2 “Continuity or Discontinuity ? Upper Pleistocene to Middle Holocene Contacts between North Africa and Iberia and their palaeoenvironmental context” are parts of a multidisciplinary working environment in Geography, Prehistoric Archaeology and Geology.
