Candidate’s Profile
– holds a PhD, or equivalent, with a doctoral thesis in the field of Human Sciences or Social Sciences ;
– has at least two years’ postdoctoral experience on 1 October 2015 ;
– has completed outstanding academic research in the relevant field, documented by recent publications in widely distributed and peer-reviewed scientific journals and books, both at home and
abroad ;
– has conducted research on the history of sub-Saharan Africa in both a global historical context and in relation to present-day Africa as is shown by the applicant’s PhD and/or scholarly publications ;
– expertise in (the supervision of) research on Central Africa will be considered an asset ;
