Mikulov (République tchèque)
Two-day’s plenary sessions and poster presentations will be held in several historical halls of the Mikulov Castle at the foot of the Pavlov Hills.
An excursion to the Gravettian sites of Dolní Věstonice – Pavlov is planned during the third day, with presentation of the excavations and discussion in the field.
Following topical sessions are proposed :
– Actual trends in human adaptation
– New methods in osteological material analysis
– Paleoanthropology, prehistory, and ethnology of Northern Eurasia
– Dolní Věstonice and the Gravettian world
– Early Holocene (Mesolithic) human adaptations
