The Summer School offers students a full immersion, laboratory-based training activity about the study of the prehistoric and protohistoric lithic tools related with the human use of the mountain resources, The Summer School is devoted to PhD or postDoc young researchers from any country of the world and interested in increasing their scientific knowledge about this topic. Discussants and participants will work together on experimental and archaeological case studies in order to exchange personal ideas, research approaches, methodological perspectives as well as to develop a professional competence on lithic tool analysis which will involve technology, traceology, ethnography, and experimental techniques. The new acquired competence will allow participants to improve their methodological skills, to explore new research boundaries, to be introduced to a wider vision of their professional role in Archaeological Sciences.
