Tuesday 10 January 2012, by CerAfIm // 2. CerAfIm works

The “Céramique Imprimée du Sahara et de ses Marges” (CISEM – Impressed Ceramics from Sahara and its Borders) project was designed for sharing methods of work on African stamped ceramics.
This first meeting aimed at bringing together researchers and students from various archaeological arenas studying, among other topics, the analysis of ceramic decorations, and at allowing them to display some of their material samples. By the end of the first day, the foundations for a joint work on homogenizing the stamping descriptive terminologies had been laid.
