Teaching Fellow in Zooarchaeology - University College

The UCL Institute of Archaeology is seeking to appoint a part-time (one day per week) Teaching Fellow in Zooarchaeology.

The Teaching Fellow will work closely alongside the Reader in Zooarchaeology and Co-ordinator of the MSc in Environmental Archaeology, in teaching zooarchaeology options at both undergraduate and Master’s level, and contributing to core courses for postgraduate students. Alongside teaching, the Teaching Fellow will be expected to undertake marking of assessments, supervise dissertations and contribute generally to zooarchaeology and environmental archaeology at UCL.

The post is funded for 21 months in the first instance and is available from 5 January 2015.

Key Requirements
We are seeking an individual with a PhD in zooarchaeology or closely related field, along with good teaching experience at undergraduate and Master’s level. Candidates should have zooarchaeology laboratory experience , and a proven track record of high quality publications.
