Pivoting Impression (A+B) Leiterband
The "Leiterband" form was first described by R. Kuper (Kuper, 1981), and later B. Keding (Keding, 1997) defined its application to ceramics from the Wadi Howar Neolithic sites (including Djabarona 84/13). The pattern was also described by D. Commelin (1984) for sites in the region of Erg Jmeya (Mali).
This form can be obtained through the pivoting impression of a single flat and round-toothed comb on several parallel rows with a regular overlaying motif.
